The Moose muses on how delicious the irony would be if the election would be decided by the Democrat's Curt Schilling.
The Moose is usually adverse to sports metaphors, but he couldn't resist. The notion of Clinton coming off the disabled list to assist Kerry was just too striking to forgo the comparison to Curt Schilling's performance with an ailing and bloody ankle for Boston in the World Series.
And wouldn't it be fabulously ironic if Clinton helped carry Arkansas for Kerry, and that was decisive in defeating Bush. Not so far fetched - the latest Arkansas poll shows Kerry surging.
A Bush loss would be devastating to Republicans. A loss attributable to the man they loathe would result in the G.O.P. being in therapy for years to come.
